Spiced Apple Butter

Ingredients:

  • 6 lbs Ambrosia Gold® apples, about 12

  • ½ cup apple cider

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 2 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice

  • ½ tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Peel, core and roughly chop apples.

  2. In a slow cooker, add apples, apple cider, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice and salt.

  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

  4. Stir and let sit uncovered on low for an additional 2 hours.

  5. Use an immersion blender to blend until smooth consistency.

  6. Let cool and transfer to mason jars for storing or gifting!
